UNLISTED playing their regular Wednesday night engagement at Pies & Pints, Middlebury
UNLISTED is a four-piece original rock band from Connecticut. The style of their original music and live performance is driven by high energy and an upbeat vibe that will undeniably get you moving. Just have a listen and see. The group came together and hit the scene in 2012. They have been playing local venues such as the Red Door in Watertown and Zen Bar in Plainville, several private functions and the 2012 Watertown Fall Festival in front of a crowd of several thousand. They are currently working very hard on finishing up their debut album, which is yet to be titled. The guys are very excited to have their songs available and are targeting a July 2015 release date to be accompanied by the usual buzz of live performances and parties. Stay tuned for the details. STEVE RECCHIA– Rhythm guitar and vocals
Steve Recchia is from the Watertown, Connecticut area and has been playing music for over 20 years. Steve has been in such bands as B-SiDE, AMR, Hired Gunz and What’s On Tap. In addition to playing, Steve is an audio engineer doing sound for many local CT bands at local venues or on location with his own equipment. UNLISTED is currently recording their debut album at Steve’s studio space in Watertown, CT. Steve is also working hard finishing other recording projects for local bands.
BOB MURRAY – Drums and vocals
Bob Murray is from New Milford, Connecticut. Bob has been playing for over 20 years and still trying to get it right. Bob is an old school rocker who likes to keep it simple and heavy. Bob has been playing in live bands, recording, and teaching drums in the area for years. The new UNLISTED band is his fulltime musical focus and he is looking forward to a future of recording and touring.
BENJAMIN STARR– Bass guitar and backup vocals
Born in CT and living in NY. He has been playing since 11 and influenced by Getty Lee, Les Claypool and Victor Wooten. He is a healthcare professional and chef but aspires to be a fulltime rock star. He enjoys writing original music, playing live and recording with UNLISTED. As a new member, Ben has been asked to learn the band’s repertoire quickly to play for our fans as soon as possible, and he looks forward to the wild ride that is UNLISTED. A rock and funk background is infused into his playing style which, along with original songs, forms the basis for a diverse and energetic show.
CHIP CLAWSON – Lead Guitar and backup vocals
Chip Clawson is from New Milford, Connecticut. He started playing when he was nine years old, grew up listening to country greats like Roy Clark and Chet Atkins, saw the original viewing of the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and then heard of a guitar player named Jimmy Page and a band called Led Zeppelin. After that it was all about rock. Chainsaw’s jaw-dropping leads make for an astounding live performance. Come and see for yourself.
